11th edition of the CRC Programme

The current edition of the CRC Programme is unique because it is accompanied by a project prepared by the National Polish Radio Symphony Orchestra in Katowice (NOSPR). Participants will attend special lectures and visit the NOSPR's headquarters, and then compete during a hackathon, looking for technological solutions to support the accessibility of music for all people, including those facing physical, intellectual or sensory difficulties.

FAQs

How can you prepare for the qualifying exam?

The syllabus for each stream provides key information about the course, including requirements and experience in the stream's field. For entry level courses, motivations for taking part and/or general abilities useful in the area are examined.

Does the qualifying examination consist of open or closed questions?

Exams can consist of both closed and open questions.

Is it possible to change the stream on the application form before taking the qualifying exam?

The application form can only be filled in once, but we allow for manual changes - please contact us (you will find the email address on the form page).

Can the class schedule change during the course?

We allow for changes to the schedule only in exceptional circumstances

(e.g. illness of the Leader, equipment failure).

Is it possible to opt out of the stream while it is in progress?

Yes, but please note that there are a limited number of places for individual streams. Before registering, check the course description and the planned schedule of meetings, making sure that you will be able to attend. If your availability changes during the course or you wish to drop out for other reasons - please let the Course Leader know.

If the qualifying exam from both streams was negative - can an additional exam be written from another stream?

Unfortunately, this is not possible for two reasons. Firstly, when filling in the registration form, you can only choose 2 streams. Secondly, all entrance exams are held on the same date.

If the qualifying exam result from both streams was positive - is it possible to participate in two streams?

Yes! 😊 Just remember that attendance is compulsory for all courses - make sure your meetings for both courses do not clash.

If I haven't received an email with my exam result - does that mean I don't qualify for a particular stream?

We send each person taking the entrance examinations information of their qualification or lack thereof within a few days of its completion. However, given that the number

of registrations from year to year of people interested in taking part in the Programme

is increasing every year, it may happen that we miss your e-mail address somewhere.

If you have not heard from us by the start date of the courses - please contact us by sending an e-mail to the address on the form page.

Is it possible to see the results of the written qualifying exam?

Unfortunately, this is not possible. Thousands of interested parties apply to the Programme, which is a huge organisational challenge for the team behind it. Each entrance exam is prepared and then assessed by our experts - the future Course Leaders - based on the guidelines provided in the syllabuses.
